Who we are
FamFam is a local delivery and transport platform that connects customers, shops, riders, and drivers. For privacy questions, use the contact email shown on our Contact page.
Information we may collect
- Phone number. We may collect your phone number for account verification and important service messages related to your account or orders.
- WhatsApp messages (Meta).We may send one-time passcodes (OTP) and authentication-related messages through the Meta WhatsApp Business Platform when you choose WhatsApp-based verification or when the service requires it. These messages are sent in line with Meta's policies and your WhatsApp settings.
- Location data. We may collect or process location information to support delivery routing, rider availability, order tracking, and related transport features. Exact categories depend on the app you use and the permissions you grant.
- Account, order, and delivery data. This can include profile details you provide, order contents and status, shop and rider assignments, timestamps, and messages needed to complete a delivery or transport request.
How we use information
We use this information to operate the platform: verifying accounts, fulfilling orders, coordinating riders and drivers, showing status updates, improving reliability, and complying with applicable law where required.
Service providers
FamFam may use cloud infrastructure and related services provided by Google (for example Firebase and Google Cloud) to host backend services, store data, and deliver the product. These providers process data according to their terms and our configuration — not for unrelated advertising by default in this policy description.
Security
We rely on normal industry practices such as HTTPS for web traffic and access controls on backend systems. No online service can guarantee perfect security; you should protect your device and account credentials.
Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, legal obligations, or legitimate business operations (such as dispute resolution). Retention periods can vary by data type.
Your choices
You can adjust app permissions (for example location), contact us with access or correction requests where applicable law applies, and stop using the service if you do not agree with updates to this policy.
